Story of FNC Nutriva

Povestea FNC Nutriva

The Combined Feed Factory Nutriva (FNC Nutriva) is a component of the Safir Group and was inaugurated in the second half of 2013, on the occasion of its 22nd anniversary, to contribute to the development and modernization of its own production process.

The initial investment was €6 million (including the factory, 6 silos, alleys, and surroundings), but today it has reached a total of approximately €10 million. In 2015, the first expansion of the finished product storage capacities at the Combined Feed Factory took place, along with the development of the Grain Processing Factory, primarily to convert soybeans into full-fat soy. In 2021, storage capacities were further expanded with the addition of five high-capacity silos.

The factory plays a crucial role in the integrated production process of the Safir Group, as it allows for strict quality control from the very first stages and provides feed for the birds raised in its own facilities, marketed under the Familia Safir brand. In recent years, Nutriva has expanded its commercial department by diversifying its product range to include feed for swine, sheep, and cattle.

The Factory's processing capacity is 15 tons of pelleted feed per hour (80,000 tons per year) and serves its own farms, partner farmers, as well as partners outside the Group.

FNC Nutriva covers an area of nearly 2 hectares and includes: raw material and finished product silos, a specialized laboratory for complete quality control of the cereals used, equipped with state-of-the-art technology worth over €230,000, storage spaces ensuring optimal conditions, and its own fleet of specialized transport vehicles to deliver the product safely and efficiently to its destination.

The factory benefits from a specialized team in the laboratory, nutrition, and production, who carefully and responsibly monitor every stage of the production process. This begins with the meticulous selection of cereals, which are then processed into high-nutritional-value feed for poultry at various growth stages.
